PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Foil-scrim-kraft
(FSK) is a flame retardant, vapor-barrier, and it is one of the most
commonly used facings in the insulation industry. High-strength foil-scrim-kraft paper all laminated together using a flame-retardant adhesive.

Foil-Scrim-Kraft Tape is FSK
backing coated with solvent-based acrylic adhesive, protected by an easy-release
Silicone paper liner. It is also named FSK
Insulation Jacketing Tape.
FSK Insulation Jacketing Tape is designed to seal FSK-facing
fiberglass duct board and pipe insulation against moisture and vapor. It can
also be used for patching rips and tears in foil-facing insulation and can be
used with fiberglass duct wrap for added strength.

APPLICATIONS:
FSK tape is used for seam sealing and patching of FSK-faced duct wrap
insulation, and other insulation applications where FSK facing is used,
providing a matching appearance and vapor retarder integrity.
FSK insulation tape features an aggressive, all-weather acrylic
adhesive that bonds tightly and permanently when smoothed down on the
insulation facing surface. All Weather adhesive technology permits service
temperatures of -22℉ to +176℉ (-30℃ to +80℃), and an application range of +50℉
to +105℉ (+10℃ to +40℃). It is primarily used for seam sealing and patching of
FSK-faced duct wrap insulation.
