Aluminum Glass Cloth Tape

Glass cloth reinforced foil tape, good tensile strength

Aluminum Glass Cloth Tape’s carrier is glass cloth and aluminum foil laminated. It is a strong, flexible and heat-resistant tape that can be used for a variety of HVAC applications. The excellent tensile strength and mechanical impact resistance of glass cloth compensate for the weaknesses of aluminum foil.

Aluminum foil glass cloth tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (acrylic or synthetic rubber adhesive) that adheres well to a variety of surfaces as well as irregular or uneven substrates. This tape is light and heat reflective. It is a chemically resistant, thermally conductive tape with stable performance over a temperature range of -30°C to 120°C.

  • Tape Features

    • High Temperature Resistance: Can withstand continuous temperatures up to 120°C, suitable for high-temperature applications.
    • Good Reflectivity: The aluminum foil coating on the tape has good reflectivity, helping to reduce heat loss in insulation applications.
    • Good Adhesion: Adheres well to various surfaces and over irregular or uneven substrates, ensuring a strong bond.
    • Large Tensile Strength: Glass cloth tape has higher mechanical strength than reinforced aluminum foil tape and is more suitable for load-bearing application.
  • Tape Applications

    • Sealed air conditioning ventilation ducts.
    • Seals HVAC system seams, joints and in aluminium, stainless steel and plastic.
    • Use to seal and join insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, and reflective insulation panels.
    • Seal gaps and joints in windows, doors, and other surfaces to prevent water infiltration.
    • Repair and maintenance of refrigeration systems, air conditioners, and other appliances.
    • Use for wire harness wrapping, heat shielding, and securing insulation materials in engine compartments.
    • Seams and joints in electronic enclosures to prevent the leakage of electromagnetic waves and protect sensitive electronic components.
